How to Help Your Baby Sleep at Night
Set a Routine
Everyone works better, sleeps better, and is happier when they have a routine and know what to expect. A baby is not different, in fact a baby can benefit from a set routine more than adults because they are in control of so little, it is soothing to know what to expect.
Make a Comfortable Area
It is easy to give into the temptation to keep your baby too warm because the idea of him or her being cold is horrible, however the general rule is that if it is comfortable for you it will also be comfortable for the baby.
Telling you to meet your baby's needs for a good night’s sleep seems rather obvious, however, it should be noted that your baby's needs will change over time and you should take into consideration unexpected things like a growth spurt, fever, teething, and even nightmares.
